Abraxys Director Terri Simpson completed the 'March The Month' for September 2020 and raised over £2850, which was 470% over her initial target of £500.
“So many people have their own struggles going on at the moment, especially everyone we know in the events industry, so I really didn’t expect the incredible response and support, not only in raising valuable funds for Prostate Cancer UK, but also friends and family giving up their time to walk with me to support me through the whole month. The current amount raised is close to 5 times my original expectation. We’ve been overwhelmed by the kind messages and donations that will quite simply save lives. Thank you.”

"We're so proud of you Terri, We want to raise a toast to you! You've been watching your pedometer, you've been raising funds to help beat prostate cancer and you have walked over 330,000 steps. That’s the equivalent of walking from London to Cardiff! We owe you a huge thank you. That's money towards life saving research. Research that will give more dads, brothers, sons and friends more time with their family. Thank you! But if you haven't quite hit your fundraising target yet, or want to raise that little bit extra, here are some top tips to help you get there…"
- March the Month Team
"I'm taking up the March the Month Challenge and will be walking/running 11,000 steps a day every day in September 2020 to raise awareness for early testing and diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. We are now in our 3rd year of receiving the best support and treatment from the oncology team at Charing Cross Hospital London for my hero hubby, Chris, who continues to be an inspiration for our family.
I'm asking for a donation of just £11 to highlight that every year 11,000 men are still losing their battle with Prostate Cancer. Prostate Cancer UK fights to support more men survive."
